The district operates 38 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternative programs, continuing education, and other facilities. It enrolls approximately 21,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3,500 dedicated staff members.

Position Overview

The Richmond School District is accepting applications for secondary classroom teachers and TTOCs.

Required Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor of Education;
  • Recent contract teaching or student teaching experience;
  • Certification or eligibility for certification with the Ministry of Education - Teacher Regulation Branch;
  • Registration with Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).

  • Final Practicum reports from both Faculty and School Associates;
  • Academic Transcripts;
  • Recent teaching evaluation (within the past 8 years) from your administrator (for experienced teachers).
Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $59,704 to $109,520 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package, as per the Teacher's Collective Agreement.
