Job description

Southland ISD is searching for a Secondary Science Teacher to add to our Southland Teaching Family. Must have current and valid 4-8 or 7-12 Texas content specific certification OR can obtain one through a TEA-approved alternative certification program.

The successful candidate will:

1. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area.
2. Help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
3. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

This position will also include coaching duties with specific assignment/sports to be determined.
