The Halton District School Board (HDSB) invites applications for its Secondary Principal Pool for Fall 2026. This pool supports leadership across our growing system of schools in Burlington, Oakville and neighbouring communities, emphasizing collaboration, anti-racist practice, and alignment with the Ontario Leadership Framework.

Qualified applicants will hold Principal Qualifications Part 1 and 2, be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, and demonstrate successful Vice

Qualifications

• Hold Principal Qualifications Part 1 and 2 in accordance with Ministry regulation at the time of application
• Be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Have successful experience as a Vice Principal demonstrating proven leadership effectiveness in the school community
• Be in good standing with respect to conduct
• Have demonstrated experience with Special Education policies and procedures
• Demonstrate evidence of core capacities identified in the Ontario Leadership Framework

Responsibilities
