SECONDARY OFFICE ASSISTANT

The Secondary Office Assistant provides administrative support to the school. Assist administration, teaching staff, students, and guardians daily in areas such as reception, attendance, and guidance.

Schedule: Full-time - temporary contract
Qualifications:
  • Required: Grade 12 diploma. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team member. Strong organizational and secretarial skills. MS Word skills at the Intermediate level. Advanced word-processing skills. Proficient in Excel. Proficient in PowerSchool and related reports. Basic knowledge of Google Drive and applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Preferred: Knowledge of JDE, SchoolCash.net, EasyConnect, secondary school attendance procedures. Experience with MS Publisher and Advanced Excel. Secondary office experience and Basic First Aid are assets.

Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees, even if currently receiving an OMERS pension.
