A leading subsea services provider in Canada is seeking a motivated Second Engineer for offshore support vessels. Responsibilities include daily management of mechanical systems, maintenance tasks, and leadership in risk assessments. Candidates should have a valid Second Class Engineer Motor Ship certification and experience with Offshore Support Vessels. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow in a dynamic work environment, with a rotation schedule of 28 days. Successful candidates will complete drug screening and may undergo background checks.
Qualifications
Experience aboard large AHTS will be considered an asset.
Knowledge of ISM, Transport Canada, MARPOL legislative requirements.
Valid Seafarers Medical and Canadian Passport required.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily running of mechanical installations.
Planned and unplanned maintenance of the ship's mechanical installations.
Leading Engine Room Personnel in Risk Assessments.
