Aramark Canada is seeking a passionate individual interested in a career in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or Nutrition to join the team at Second Cup as a Supervisor. Reporting to the Retail Director, the Second Cup Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the franchise location, including supervising the front-line team.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead by example and demonstrate the importance of treating every team member, customer, and client with respect.
  2. Train, orient, and monitor new team members.
  3. Assist in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and work various positions during busy periods to maintain service levels through demonstrated floor leadership.
  4. Monitor staffing levels and report to the manager any required adjustments.
  5. Ensure completion of front-line product labeling, temperature logs, waste logs, and production logs.
  6. Assist with onsite promotions and advertising provided by the Marketing Manager.
  7. Ensure cleanliness of the operation throughout service hours.
  8. Monitor cash handling procedures.
  9. Handle customer service complaints with assistance from the manager, with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Diploma or Degree in Culinary Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry as a Supervisor.
  3. Outstanding communication skills.
  4. Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  5. Excellent customer service skills.
  6. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
