We are currently recruiting a Seasonal Yard Associate for a position out of our retail center in Fredericton, New Brunswick. We are looking for a candidate who likes to be kept busy, enjoys working in a team environment and takes pleasure in serving customers.

Qualifications

1. Grade XII or equivalent; training or experience in customer service will be considered a strong asset.
2. Ability to safely operate a forklift in and around tight spaces; training and experience an asset.
3. A commitment to workplace safety for fellow employees and customers.
4. Ability to handle heavy merchandise, and work outside in all weather conditions.
5. Trustworthy with the ability to handle paperwork accurately.
6. Customer service oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
8. Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
9. Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with opportunity for Overtime.

Responsibilities

1. Safety in the yard, including safe conduct by all customers and staff.
2. Loading and unloading of trucks both by hand and using the forklift.
3. Maintaining the yard in a neat and organized fashion.
