POSITION DESCRIPTION

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSITION REPORTS TO: Assistant or General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

Receiving Associate: Supports warehouse operations both on and off the airport site. Responsibilities include processing shipping and receiving functions, unloading trucks, pulling and packing delivery stock, and providing maintenance activities for the shops. Associates communicate and partner with store management, vendors, and airport staff to ensure compliance with rules and regulations for merchandise movement throughout the location. Must learn job responsibilities such as warehouse layout, types of inventory processed, and merchandise departments.

Replenish Associate: Maintains and delivers stock to various locations throughout the day. Pulls reports and fills orders to ensure adequate merchandise levels. Works directly with sales associates and managers to assist with stock placement, setting planograms, and supporting promotions. May also perform store functions such as customer service, register transactions, and maintenance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Put the customer first at all times (internal and external).
  • Provide excellent customer service through efficient inventory control and distribution.
  • Utilize company tools and resources responsibly, following security practices.
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe and organized store/stockroom/warehouse environment, complying with health and safety regulations, visual merchandising, and housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, transfer transactions, etc., accurately using handheld or company equipment.
  • Complete process controls and paperwork accurately.
  • Apply stock security measures consistently.
  • Resolve inventory control issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Report and follow up on IMT issues.
  • Report discrepancies to management per defined processes.
  • Assist with stock pricing and store stocking as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of warehouse, retail, or customer service experience required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Work with urgency and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Self-starter with minimal instruction needed.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), standing for long periods, climbing, bending, and working nights, weekends, or holidays.

Pay: $17.85/hour - Morning shifts (6:30 AM - 3:30 PM) - Seasonal Part-time Summer Help

This position requires a Canadian Criminal Records Check (CCRC), which can be obtained at your local police station. Are you willing to acquire this check to work at the airport in this position?
