Job Opportunity: Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Location: Kelowna BC, 288 Unit B2, 8775 Jim Bailey Crescent, Kelowna, British Columbia V4V 2L7

Pay: $21-$24 per hour

Job Summary

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate will enhance operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving, storing materials, and picking, packing, and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
2. Organize shipment priorities, coordinate with commercial carriers, and stage orders for loading and verification.
3. Assist in loading delivery trucks.
4. Receive shipments, log into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits.
5. Locate manufacturers’ packing lists, verify receipt of items, and attach packing lists to bills of lading.
6. Sign and date freight bills, note adjustments or damages, and report discrepancies.
7. Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales staff, colleagues, and customers regarding deliveries and pickups.
8. Move inventory within the warehouse to designated spaces.
9. Operate forklifts safely, maintain certification, and report safety issues.
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient facility.
11. Process returns accurately.
12. Participate in product knowledge meetings as required.
13. Ensure facility security by securing equipment and entry points at day’s end.
14. Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and technology.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience in distribution or warehousing.
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
