Job summary

FOCUS Community Development Corporation in Stayner, Ontario is seeking a reliable Trimmer/Packager for our seasonal production team near Collingwood. You will assist with harvesting, trimming, processing and packaging, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Hours include 7AM-4PM and 4PM-2AM, Monday to Friday, with weekends optional; compensation is $17.95/hour. You must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, agriculture, or food processing is an asset.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate trimming and processing equipment.
• Feed product into machinery.
• Check products for quality.
• Clear minor machine jams safely.
• Clean and sanitize equipment.
• Move and organize product trays.
• Complete basic production paperwork.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
