Job summary

Talbot & Associates (T&A) in Manitoba is seeking a motivated Tax Preparer for a full-time temporary Tax Season Task Force from February 2027 to May 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across accounting and tax functions while working within a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, strong communication, and an interest in growing in public accounting. Prior tax prep is a plus; bilingual French/English is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in accounting or tax return prep is a plus.
• Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support tax season tasks and assist in personal tax return preparation.
• Work under mentorship to gain hands-on accounting experience.
