Responsibilities
  • Help clients complete their tax returns using TurboTax software, providing guidance and reviewing their self-prepared returns.
  • Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers for clients.
  • Interact with clients via video communication tools, maintaining detailed records of all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
  • Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively via video and audio tools.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, minimum of 20 hours per week.
Additional Assets
  • Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

  • Deep understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to learning.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Curiosity and interest in continuous learning and resourcefulness.
