Shipper (Forklift Operator) – until September 30, 2025


Responsibilities

• Safe performance of assigned tasks
• Proactive approach to safety and identifying potential hazards
• Follow all warehouse process to ensure compliance
• Verify inventory while shipping/ racking using RF scanner
• Perform checklist on forklifts before start of shift
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Load trailers based on established load patterns.
• Load / ship only quality product.
• Report any un-safe act or observation
• Attach identifying tags or labels, as required
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes
• Manage relationships with peers and team-members to ensure achievement of department goals.
• Understand all department KPI’s and strive to improve output
• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement – 18 years
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Food Processing, Manufacturing and or/Distribution environment would be considered an asset
• 2+ years forklift driving experience is a high volume/fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Demonstrates adherence to factory standards, policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills with strong commitment to safety culture
• Commitment to Attendance
• Experience driving a double wide counterbalance forklift considered an asset
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
