Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Prince George, BC is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member for a part-time role. You will help customers, stock, ring up purchases, and promote rewards and payment programs.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms, while supporting omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.
• Able to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) processes; keep store well merchandised and in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

This role can lead into other departments such as customer experience, merchandising and frame. As such, other duties include: Ensuring all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
