Job summary

Michaels in Toronto is hiring a part-time service team member to assist customers, process purchases, and help maintain an inviting, well-stocked store environment. You will assist with curbside and in-store shopping, and participate in merchandise replenishment and store recovery tasks.

The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork across departments. Must be 16+ and able to stand, lift, and move merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner; promote the company's vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
