Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals for a Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) in the Richmond, BC area. You will greet guests, handle the register, keep the store clean and visually appealing, and support stockroom operations.

This is a part-time seasonal role through early January with flexible hours and potential for permanency for top performers. Expect to engage customers with fun LEGO experiences, follow safety standards, and collaborate with the store

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest and perform all cash register functions with a professional, friendly manner
• Maintain a clean, safe store and visible displays following LEGO Brand Retail standards
• Assist in receiving merchandise and manage the stockroom while observing safety rules

• Work varied hours including nights and weekends per business needs

Job Description Are you excited to deliver inspirational retail experiences to LEGO® fans of all ages? Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) and provide inspirational guest experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to join us on a seasonal, part-time basis. We expect this position to last until early January, but that may change based on business needs.

Exceed our guests’ expectations through fun and meaningful interactions

• Ensure a signature experience for every guest that visits our LEGO® stores by greeting every guest in your location, performing all cash register functions and portraying a professional, gracious, friendly and engaging manner at all times
• Provide a clean, safe and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties, maintaining store displays and learning and executing LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards
• Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom as you assist in the receiving of merchandise, maintain the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards, know and abide by all safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations

Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values

• Communicate effectively with team members and guests
• Process information/merchandise through the register system
• Work various hours, days, nights and weekends as business dictates
• Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area

Physical specifications: Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.

There is potential for this to become a permanent role for excellent performers

Must provide availability to work up to 20 hours per week (does not mean you’ll be scheduled for 20 hours, but 20 hours of availability must be given).

Compensation

Hourly wage for the position has a range of $20.05 to $21.05 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

Compensation The starting salary for this position is $20.05 . A bonus scheme with an annual target bonus of of the base salary is in place for this position, subject to contractual terms as well as a standard benefit package. Further information regarding salary and benefit components will be provided during the recruitment process.
