Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You'll share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while being hyper-focused on the in-store experience.

What You'll Do

1. Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. You'll impress with your product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for pop culture.
2. Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are attractive and organized.
3. Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
4. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
5. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of store resources.
6. Support stockroom organization and store cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
7. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
8. Perform any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• Previous retail experience is preferred. If you're passionate about music and pop culture, you're already part of the fandom!
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• You must be at least 16 years old to join the team.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, akin to Avengers teamwork.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
