Position Summary:

To provide our guests a clean and comfortable room every day while achieving high standards of cleanliness. Must be a people person and have a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service to all of our guests.

What will you be doing?

1. Perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas
2. Maintain linens, towels and guest supplies in guest rooms
3. Notify management of any damage to guest rooms and ensures rooms are made ready for occupancy
4. Collect guest items from the room after checkout and report to lost and found
5. Assist in room inspection of the cleaned guest room
6. Submit maintenance requests for repairs and work and safety hazards
7. Follow company health & safety and security procedures
8. Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests needs
9. Communicate information to the appropriate hotel personnel on any concerns or issues
10. Maintain the hotels cleaning standards and exceeding standard expectations
11. Follow lost and found procedures, bagging and tagging accurately
12. Provide exceptional customer service to guests by clearly communicating and resolving challenges to guest satisfaction
13. Assisting other departments when necessary and available
14. Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Eldorado Resort
15. Perform other related duties assigned by the management team

1. Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize
2. Possess a keen eye for detail
3. Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills
4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
5. Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use
6. Flexible, efficient and punctual
7. Able to work independently, or team environment
8. Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
9. Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
10. Available to work varied shifts: days, weekends and holidays
11. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction
