Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. Immediate start with a target end date in late March, in a safety-focused, field-based environment.

You will load/unload, plan routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and comply with regulations. Valid Class 3 DZ license and 3+ years of driving experience required; CVOR clean.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR/personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor
