Customer Service, Store Accounting Resource Centre (SARC) - Coordinator, Accounts Receivable (SDM)

Shoppers Drug Mart is currently seeking highly motivated candidates to fill the position of Customer Service, Store Accounting Resource Centre Coordinator within our Enterprise Business Services team. This position interacts with internal customers to provide information in response to inquiries. The coordinator will support and guide 1350 stores with inquiries related to financial processes. The successful candidate will focus on training and supporting stores through the implementation of our Enterprise Accounts Receivable initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide guidance to stores in reconciling their accounts receivable with corporate purchases.
  2. Support stores in setting up their patient and customer master data.
  3. Ensure store administrators have the skills and knowledge to manage their accounts receivable.
  4. Identify gaps in accounts receivable processes and facilitate necessary changes.
  5. Communicate with retail finance and operations regarding store execution and training needs.
  6. Manage a high volume of incidents while meeting Service Level Agreements.
  7. Provide feedback for process improvement.
  8. Support other SDM store-related initiatives as required.
Requirements and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of applicable retail experience or a combination of finance-related education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with management.
  • Customer-centric mindset with negotiation skills for positive outcomes.
  • Strong organization and time management skills to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills to develop strong relationships.
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams in a Windows environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP, HighRadius, and Microstrategy systems is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to remote work when possible.
