We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at the Walmart Garden Centre in Penticton, BC. With this position, you can be proud of what you do. Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in local retail stores, restocking products, creating attractive displays, and maintaining product quality through watering, pruning, and rotation. Responsibilities include offloading product, merchandising, and inventory management. Shifts are spent outside in the garden centre, rain or shine.

• Must be a team player and open to collaborating with all team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude and approach all situations positively.
• Own your tasks, completing them with 100% effort from start to finish.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull and reach.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables or staging carts.
• Pricing products as required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Standing for long periods.
• Self-driven, prioritizing time and duties.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
