Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and garden plants to retailers in Canada and the Northwestern US. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at the Home Depot Outdoor Garden Centre on Terminal Ave, Vancouver, BC. Job Summary:

Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in local retail stores and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, pay attention to detail, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They ensure the visual display and integrity of our products, including pricing and inventory management. Daily tasks include offloading product from carts to benches or staging carts, merchandising products, creating attractive displays, and maintaining shelf fullness. Responsibilities also include watering, pruning, and rotating products. Team members collaborate on daily plans, task delegation, reporting, and communication with supervisors. Shifts are outdoors in the garden centre, regardless of weather conditions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Unloading carts of product onto tables or other carts.
• Pricing products as needed.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Standing for long periods.
• Self-motivated with good time management.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Smartphone required for email, photos, and communication.
• Reliable personal vehicle preferred but not mandatory.
• Merchandising experience is a plus.
• Safety-toed shoes (steel or composite) required during shifts.
