Our Opportunity:

Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and outdoor garden plants to retailers in Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Walmart Garden Centre on Betts Ave in W Saskatoon. This opportunity is ideal for students, snowbirds, or anyone interested in spending a season doing what they love!

Job Summary:

Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in retail stores and restocking products. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to details, follow instructions thoroughly, and are self-motivated.

Responsibilities include maintaining the visual display and integrity of our products, managing pricing and inventory, offloading product, creating attractive displays, maintaining plant health (watering, pruning, rotation), and collaborating with team members on daily plans and tasks. Shifts are outdoors in the Garden Center, rain or shine.

• Must be a team player and open to collaborating with all team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Take ownership of tasks, completing them with full effort from start to finish.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull and reach
• Unloading carts, merchandising, pricing, inventory reporting
• Standing for long periods, working independently and in a team
• High energy and attention to detail
