Our Opportunity:

Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and outdoor garden plants to retailers in Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Walmart Garden Centre in North Battleford Sk. This role is perfect for students, snowbirds, or anyone who wants to spend a season doing something they love!

Job Summary:

Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in retail stores and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, pay attention to details, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated.

Responsibilities include visual display, product integrity, pricing, and inventory management. Daily tasks involve offloading product, merchandising, creating displays, maintaining shelves, watering, pruning, and rotating products. Teamwork, planning, and communication with supervisors are essential. Shifts are outdoors in the Garden Center, rain or shine.

• Positive attitude towards all situations.
• Own your tasks, complete them thoroughly from start to finish.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs.
• Push/pull and reach capabilities.
• Unloading carts, pricing, inventory reporting.
• Merchandising according to standards.
• Standing for long periods.
• Self-driven, organized, energetic, detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Smartphone usage for communication and photos.
• Reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA safety-toed shoes required during shifts.
