Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and outdoor garden plants to retailers in Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Capilano location, Walmart Garden Centre in East Edmonton, AB. You can be proud of your work in this role.

Job Summary:

Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in retail stores and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to detail, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated.

Responsibilities include maintaining product display, pricing, inventory management, watering, pruning, and product rotation. Shifts are outdoors in the Garden Center regardless of weather conditions.

• Ownership – complete tasks thoroughly and with full effort.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs.
• Push/pull and reach tasks.
• Unloading carts, merchandising, creating displays.
• Watering, pruning, product rotation.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Standing for long periods.
• Prioritizing tasks and working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications and Education:
