Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and outdoor garden plants to retailers in Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Walmart Garden Centre at Deerfoot Mall in NE Calgary, AB. This position is perfect for students, snowbirds, or anyone wanting to spend a season doing what they love!

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for caring for and presenting live goods in retail stores, restocking, creating attractive displays, and maintaining product health through watering, pruning, and rotation. Shifts involve outdoor work in the Garden Center, rain or shine. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, follow instructions thoroughly, self-motivated, and team players.

• Ownership of tasks from start to finish

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs
• Push/pull, reach, and long periods on your feet
• Unloading carts, merchandising, pricing, inventory reporting, and display setup
• Watering, pruning, rotating products

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Smartphone usage (email, photos)
• Reliable vehicle preferred
• CSA safety-toed shoes required for shifts

Preferred Skills: People skills, adaptability, organization, problem-solving, physical capability for manual labor.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, day/evening, holidays, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed.
