Job summary

A local government in Windsor, Ontario is seeking Seasonal Maintenance Assistants to help with the upkeep of buildings, parks, and roadways. Seasonal Maintenance Assistants

The Town of Windsor, CT is seeking hardworking, dedicated individuals to assist town crews in the upkeep and maintenance of Town buildings, parks and roadways.

Normal hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Compensation is $18 to $20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

The Position:

Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with paving, patching streets, and painting.

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of building and grounds maintenance;
  • Basic skill in operating hand tools and small machinery;
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of the town's pre-employment background check and drug screen (includes screening for marijuana)
