Labourer Roles Are Primarily Responsible For

  • Providing field support to maintain roads, parks, and public spaces for community members by performing physical labour, cleaning, maintaining grass and assets, or operating tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service & maintaining professional relations with internal staff and external patrons.
  • Participating in special projects and other duties as needed.

Seasonal Labourer Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Related work experience in a Labourer role.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, pull items 50lbs+
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold strong communication and customer service skills
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license.
  • Willingness to work outside in noisy, dusty, windy, or wet conditions under pressure with constant change and distractions.
  • Demonstrate a safety mindset and a high level of professionalism when dealing with the public and fellow employees.

Position Details

  • Seasonal Labourer wages range from $23.00 - $25.96 per hour
  • Days and Hours of Work: Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Evenings or weekends may be required depending on the projects or special events.
  • All seasonal and summer employees receive an all-access pass to the Bold Center Multiplex and Pool.
