Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in landscaping, horticulture, greenhouse or similar.
• Valid Class Ontario 'G' Driver’s License in good standing.
• Ability to drive pick-up trucks and larger Class G vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of horticultural assets across the City.
• Conduct routine maintenance of horticulture beds.
• Operate various City vehicles and equipment for maintenance.

Skills

Ability to operate hand mowers

Knowledge of horticulture

Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labour

Education

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
