Role Overview

Join our team as a Seasonal Garden Centre Merchandiser in a fast-paced and exciting seasonal environment! This role is ideal for gardening enthusiasts who enjoy outdoor work. You will enhance the visual appeal of our garden center, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers and showcasing our flowers and plants.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday shifts available, either opening AM or closing PM shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Display Creation: Set up and organize inventory efficiently; arrange products attractively.
2. Product Rotation and Maintenance: Update displays regularly; ensure correct pricing and signage; report damaged merchandise.
3. Customer Engagement: Assist customers, provide gardening tips, and answer questions.
4. Stocking and Inventory: Maintain organized shelves; collaborate to replenish stock.
5. Visual Standards: Keep displays clean, organized, and seasonal.
6. Team Collaboration: Work with team members and communicate with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Passion for gardening and outdoor activities
• Retail or merchandising experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle physical tasks up to 45lbs outdoors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Availability

• Seasonal position from late April to early June
• Flexible for AM or PM shifts
