Job summary

Irving Oil is seeking a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver to work with the Dispatch team delivering products safely to residential and commercial customers. You will load the fuel truck, follow daily routes, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections in a safety-focused environment, with DOT compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Active class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license with airbrakes (A or D license with Z endorsement) required.
• Minimum 2 years professional driving experience required.
• Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck while adhering to DOT regulations and procedures.
• Work with Dispatch Team in delivering products to residential and commercial customers.
• Follow a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets, etc.
• Load truck with required product while adhering to safety policies at loading site/bulk plant.
• Complete daily shift report, pre- and post-trip inspections and paperwork.

Job description

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining to all Department of Transportation regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities

The expected hourly for this position is $27.00 - $32.95. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
