Job summary

Irving Oil Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver to support our Dispatch team in delivering fuel to residential and commercial customers. You will load, inspect, and follow daily routes, while adhering to DOT regulations and safety procedures.

The role offers an on‑site position with a rotational schedule, a competitive hourly rate, and bonus/pension benefits. Prior driving experience with liquid loads is valued.

Qualifications

• Active Class 1/2/3 license with air brakes (A or D with Z endorsement).
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Experience with liquid loads is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck while following DOT regulations.
• Deliver products to residential and commercial customers with dispatch.
• Follow a daily route using knowledge of geography and streets.
• Load truck with product while following safety policies.
• Complete daily shift reports and pre/post-trip inspections.

Job description

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining to all Department of Transportation regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities

• Driving a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures
• Working with our Dispatch Team in delivering products to residential and commercial customers
• Following a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets etc.
• Loading truck with required product while adhering to all safety policies and procedures at loading site/bulk plant
• Completion of daily shift report, pre and post trip inspections and any required paperwork

Your Skills

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary
• Attention to detail and strong customer service skills
• Strong safety focus required

Your Experience

• An active class 1, class 2 or class 3 driver’s license with airbrakes (A or D license with Z endorsement) required
• Minimum 2 years professional driving experience required
• Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required

The expected hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $32.95. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
