Job summary

Heeman’s Seasonal Front End Associate position is a full-time, seasonal contract starting August 31, 2026. You will be the first and last Daymaker to greet customers, process transactions, and support operations in the greenhouse and Berry Beanery.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, answering radio calls, stocking displays, operating a golf cart when trained, and maintaining a clean, safe space while following HR, SOP, and health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Gardening experience or willingness to learn.
• Prior retail, agriculture or greenhouse experience is an asset.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Take customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or area.
• Answer radio calls from all departments with proper radio etiquette.
• Operate the golf cart safely as needed (training will be provided).
• Keep the space clean by sweeping, weeding, emptying compost bins and organizing spaces.
• Learn about plant varieties and their care requirements, and related products.
• Perform other duties to support the team and operations.
• Follow HR, SOP, and Health & Safety policies.
