Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. Providing tax guidance, reviewing personal tax returns, preparing full returns, and managing product inquiries to support our mission of powering prosperity worldwide.
• You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers in understandable terms.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing position, requiring the use of advanced video communication software to interact with clients and maintain detailed records.

What you'll bring:

• A minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software and preparing complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and enhancing our brand by delighting customers.
• Excellent customer service skills and comfort with video/audio interactions in a professional, friendly manner.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, with at least 20 hours per week.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience with Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills and abilities:

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to ongoing learning.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues, escalate when necessary.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness in research and problem-solving.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and interest in learning new tools.
