Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in completing their income tax returns using TurboImpôt, providing tax advice, reviewing self-prepared returns, and managing product inquiries.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers and communicate them clearly to clients.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing role that involves using advanced video communication tools to interact with clients and maintaining detailed records of interactions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software for complex personal tax situations, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and related credits and deductions.
• Strong customer service skills, with a professional, friendly, and confident communication style via video and audio tools.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Assets:

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
• Effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, escalating when necessary.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness in seeking solutions and learning new tools.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and interest in technical tools.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with performance-based rewards, including hourly wages ranging from $24.50 to $33.50, bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits, depending on location and experience.
