Responsibilities

• Utilize professional tax software to prepare and file personal tax returns, including complex cases with employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
• Assist clients in navigating tax laws and regulations, providing clear explanations and guidance.
• Review and ensure accuracy of tax returns prepared by clients or other team members.
• Respond to client inquiries via video and audio communication tools in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software and complex tax situations.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.50 to $33.50, based on location and experience. Additional incentives include cash bonuses, stock rewards, and benefits, in accordance with company policies.

• Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboTax software.
• Provide guidance by researching and communicating clearly using government resources and team expertise.
• Interact with clients virtually via advanced video communication tools, maintaining detailed records of interactions.
