Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in filling out their income tax returns using TurboImpôt.
• Provide tax advice and review personal tax returns for clients who self-file, including preparing complete tax returns and managing product/software inquiries.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers in understandable terms.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing role that involves using advanced video communication software to interact with clients and documenting interactions for accurate record-keeping.

What you'll bring:

• At least two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software for preparing and filing complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence in using video and audio tools professionally.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience with Business Tax (T2) returns.
• Experience with Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with active listening abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand issues, utilize tools, and escalate when necessary.
• Curiosity and interest in continuous learning, following procedures, and resourcefulness.
• Basic technical skills to troubleshoot and learn new tools.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with performance-based rewards. The base pay range varies by region but generally is between $24.50 and $33.50 per hour. The position is eligible for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits, with pay equity regularly monitored.
