Responsibilities:

• Help clients complete their income tax returns using TurboImpôt software, providing guidance, reviewing returns, and managing product inquiries.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers for clients.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing role using advanced video communication tools, with documentation of interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID and use Représenter un client service.
• Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Excellent customer service skills, confident in video and audio interactions.
• Flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Asset Qualifications:

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws, proactive in learning about changes.
• Effective communication, active listening, empathy.
• Problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, ability to escalate issues when needed.
• Basic technical troubleshooting and tool proficiency.

Intuit offers a competitive, performance-based salary, with a base range of $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on location, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits. This position is eligible for various incentives and benefits, with pay equity regularly assessed.
