Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in preparing their income tax returns using TurboImpôt software.
• Review and provide guidance on personal tax returns, including complex situations such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate and understandable answers to clients.
• Interact with clients via advanced video communication tools, maintaining detailed records of interactions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Provide CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software and complex tax situations.
• Excellent customer service skills, professional and friendly communication.
• Flexible availability, minimum 20 hours per week.

Additional assets:

• Experience with corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills & Abilities:

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex problems and escalate when necessary.
• Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
