Seasonal Elevator Worker - Ottawa, IL

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Ottawa location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate elevator processes and powered industrial equipment
• Perform general plant cleaning
• Climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Shovel, vacuum, sweep, load and unload trucks and railcars, and perform general maintenance
• Work overtime up to 12 hours per day, including weekend overtime during harvest periods

Job Requirements:

• Commit to ADM’s goal of zero injuries; understand and follow safety procedures
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance
• Meet physical requirements, including standing, working in confined spaces and heights, kneeling, climbing, working in various conditions (heat, cold, dust), lifting up to 50 lbs., and wearing a respirator
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends during harvest
• Present a professional image and maintain a positive attitude
• Provide own transportation to and from work

Successful completion of a background check is required.

Pay varies depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills. Overtime pay is provided for qualifying hours. Employees are employed at-will, and base pay may be modified at the company's discretion.
