Job summary

PrimemaxEnergy is hiring a DZ Metered Propane Delivery Driver for Ayr, ON. You will safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers, while upholding the highest safety standards and providing excellent service.

The role is seasonal, with training and certifications provided. Must report daily to the Ayr yard and work continental shifts with overtime during winter months.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ driver’s license (AZ considered an asset).
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (fuel or propane preferred).
• Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Contenental shifts and seasonal overtime during winter months.
• Physically able to lift up to 55lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate single and tandem-axle propane delivery trucks.
• Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load, unload, and safely handle propane.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD/tablet).
• Provide professional, courteous customer service on every delivery.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including TDG and CVOR requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch regards to schedules, routes, and operational issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
