UPS is hiring a part-time seasonal role in the Guelph area. You will assist UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups at drop boxes and customer locations, with no driving required.

The position requires lifting, outdoor work in various weather, and flexible start times between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Workdays are Monday through Friday, up to 25 hours per week, with weekly pay and paid training.

Position Summary:

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around Guelph Area . This role involves performing physical work in a fast-paced environment including continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Work Location: Guelph ON (N1K, N1H, N1E, N1C, N1G, N1S, N1R, N3H, N1T - Postal Code Area)

Workdays: Monday through Friday (All five days of the week)

Shift Start: Start time will vary between 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Depending on operational needs start times & finish times may vary. Flexibility required

Pay rate : $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Meet UPS driver at the assigned local meet point
• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 hours a day, start times & finish times may vary depending on operational needs. Flexibility required
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted
• Strong customer service skills
• Employees must wear a company-provided vest, black pants, and dark brown or black boots
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking
• Work hours may vary depending on the work volume
