Job summary

Danfoss is hiring delivery drivers in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island. This seasonal role runs from October through December 31, 2026, with high performers offered full-time positions starting in January.

Training is provided, and the job involves lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating stairs while delivering ecommerce packages. We require a BC Class 5 license, English reading and speaking ability, and a willingness to work 10-hour shifts with 40–50 hours weekly, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 5 years of driving experience and authorized to work in Canada.
• A valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license.
• Able to speak and read English.
• Flexible with work schedules, including weekends.
• Must pass driving records check and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver Ecommerce packages to customers.
• Comply with company procedures, policies, attendance requirements, and safety standards.
• Operate company vehicle to local customer locations as scheduled in timely, efficient manner.
• Ability to safely climb in and out of vehicle, navigate stairs often.
• Deliver packages in all weather conditions.
• Lift a maximum of 50 lbs repeatedly during a 10 hour work shift.
• Handle challenging workload and help other drivers as needed.
• Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environment.
• Follow GPS navigation.

This position is in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island, please do not apply if you are not located on Vancouver Island. This is a physically demanding job, you must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds up and down multiple flights of stairs multiple times per day.

Experience as a delivery driver is not required, we will train the right candidates. We are currently hiringfull time & part timeresponsible Delivery Drivers using world-class technology in our safe, reliable vans.
