Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Location: Lower Sackville, NS

Duration: March to September 2025

This position involves fulfilling customer orders and services, primarily focusing on maintaining work schedules for field technicians and ensuring all customer commitments are met. The goal is to complete tasks effectively and in a timely manner, providing world-class customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer and technician inquiries, inbound and outbound.
  • Coordinate with technicians to adjust assignments, add or remove locations, and reassign routes as necessary.
  • Provide logistical support to technicians and maintain effective communication with colleagues and customers.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule customer services.
  • Handle difficult customer issues promptly, professionally, and communicate resolutions clearly.
  • Maintain communication with Operations Managers, Branch Managers, and Regional Managers to share information and address technician concerns.
  • Escalate significant issues to management and facilitate communication across departments.
  • Promote a positive attitude within the service team, fostering positive interactions among service, technician, and office staff.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of dispatch or scheduling experience for field technicians servicing commercial and residential customers.
  • Experience in customer service and managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Gmail, Calendar).
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of prioritizing work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in dealing with others.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism.
