Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a Seasonal Part-time Courier to provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route in the Cambridge/Region of Waterloo area. You will check shipments for conformance to service standards, maintain a professional appearance, and support related customer service functions.

The position runs for up to 12 weeks with Sun start at 09:00 and Mon–Thu start times varying (Sun 0900 Start / Mon - TBD / Tue–Thu 0830–1700).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Customer Service – 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service standards and paperwork.
• Maintain neat appearance and professional conduct representing the company.
• Operate tracking/dispatch systems and report stop counts and missorts.
• Inform sales of leads and market changes; seek additional business from current customers.
• Ensure proper labeling, neat paperwork, and supply of shipping materials for customers.
• Operate vehicle safely, comply with regulations and company procedures.
• May perform loading/unloading, sorting, and scanning as workload dictates.
