Job summary

Hillberg & Berk is seeking Seasonal Client Ambassadors for the Bower Place store in Red Deer. You’ll welcome clients, help them pick the perfect piece, and ensure a smooth shopping experience during the holiday rush.

You will unpack shipments, replenish the floor, wrap gifts, and run the POS while keeping the store looking its best. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• One to two years of retail, hospitality, food service, or similar fast-paced experience.
• Comfort with physical, detail-heavy work and standing for extended periods.
• Availability through peak period including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and help them find pieces they’ll love.
• Receive shipments, replenish the floor, and keep stockroom orderly.
• Gift wrap and package with care and speed.
• Operate the POS and keep lines moving smoothly.
• Maintain store visuals and assist teammates as needed.
• Provide ad hoc support to the team.

Each holiday season, our stores become the place people come to find the gift they've been thinking about since October. It's the most joyful and most demanding stretch of our year, and we're hiring Seasonal Client Ambassadors at our Bower Place location in Red Deer to help us celebrate the season!

Hillberg & Berk was founded at a kitchen table in Regina in 2007 and has been women-owned ever since. We design jewellery for people who’d rather express themselves than blend in, and we donate a minimum of 1% of annual sales to causes supporting women. Every box that leaves our stores over the holidays carries a bit of that magic with it.

About The Role

This job is client-facing, and it's hands-on. You'll welcome clients, support the team in helping them find the right piece, and ensuring their experience is smooth from start to finish. You'll also unpack shipment, replenish the floor, keep the stockroom accurate , wrap a lot of gifts, and put the store back together between rushes.

What Your Days Look Like

• Welcoming clients and helping them find something they'll genuinely love
• Receiving shipment, replenishing the floor, and keeping the stockroom in order
• Gift wrapping and packaging with care and speed
• Working the POS and keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed
• Maintaining the store to our visual standards throughout the day
• Backing up your team with ad hoc support requests

What You Bring

• One to two years of retail, hospitality, food service, or similar fast-paced experience
• Comfort with physical, detail-heavy work: standing a full shift, lifting cartons, and using a step stool, etc.
• Availability through our peak period, including evenings, weekends, Black Friday and Boxing Day
• High School Diploma or equivalent
