Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Seasonal Clerk/Cashier – Beer Cooler Focus (2 Positions) from May 26-September 2, 2025, at our Cornerstone Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Cornerstone Wine, Spirits, and Beer Team Leader responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, fireworks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beer cooler including inventory levels and proper product placement, pricing, and signage.
• Stock, arrange and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, Stocking shelves may involve carrying large quantities of wine, spirits, and beer; and involves accessing products in the back-room storage area.
• Operate Point-Of-Sale System (POS) and other electronic devices and process sales.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You must be 19 years of age or older; retail liquor industry sales experience is considered an asset.
• You must be willing and able to obtain Serve It Right certification.
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements; ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, standing for long periods of time, work will involve cooler temperatures.
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekend and evening work.
