Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier in Toronto is hiring a Chocolate Sales Connoisseur for a seasonal, part-time shop position at the TD Centre. You will engage customers, understand their preferences and recommend chocolate products that meet their needs while applying upselling and cross-selling techniques.

The role is 5–10 hours per week with an expected hourly wage of $18.00. Availability to work weekdays between 8:00am and 6:30pm is required.

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chocolate Sales Connoisseur to join our sales team at our shop in TD Centre. You will produce sales and profits by achieving sales goals and by providing excellent customer service. You’ll connect with customers, learn what they’re looking for and confidently recommend products that meet their needs. You’ll use sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling, introduce customers to current products, promotions and campaigns, and encourage participation in initiatives.

This position is a great opportunity to expand your experience in retail while selling our award-winning chocolate products.

This is a seasonal part-time position that requires availability to work weekdays, between 8:00am and 6:30pm.

You will be a good fit if you are:

• Passionate about providing a great customer experience

• Confident using upselling and cross-selling techniques
