Join the La Crema Winery Team for Harvest 2025! We are located in the heart of the Russian River Valley of Northern California with over 40 years of history producing acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. More recently, we added Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon to the portfolio, making La Crema winery a great place to learn the fundamentals of winemaking. We pride ourselves on our hands-on approach to winemaking that results in remarkable wines.

Under the general direction of the Cellar Manager, successful applicants will have the opportunity to learn the harvest process, including Crush Pad Operations, Fermentation Management, Barrel Operations, and Winery Sanitation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning, sanitizing, and sterilizing all winery equipment and facilities.
2. Racking and pumping of juice and wine; moving hoses and equipment.
3. Making chemical and nutrient additions to juice and wine.
4. Obtaining lab samples from tanks and barrels.
5. Operating crush pad equipment.
6. Forklift operation moving barrels and bins.
7. Following and observing all safe cellar practices.
8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Background and Experience:

The ability to communicate effectively with good skills in reading, writing, and basic math is required. Must be able to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and procedures, and be able to read cellar work orders, count barrels, record times and dates. Individuals selected for this position must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic. Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime and varying shifts. Must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States.

We pay a shift differential for Night Shift.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel, and be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Wage Transparency:

The pay for this role ranges from $18.50 - $23.50 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.

8. Otras funciones asignadas por el supervisor.

Antecedentes y Experiencia:

Se requiere la capacidad de comunicarse efectivamente con buenas habilidades en lectura, escritura y matemáticas básicas. Debe ser capaz de leer e interpretar documentos, como reglas y procedimientos de seguridad, y ser capaz de leer órdenes de trabajo, contar barriles, registrar horas y fechas. Las personas seleccionadas deben ser confiables, puntuales y tener una buena ética de trabajo. Dispuesto a trabajar horas flexibles, incluyendo horas extras y turnos variables. Debe poder proporcionar prueba de elegibilidad para trabajar en los EE. UU.

Se pagará una tarifa adicional por el turno de la noche.

Requerimiento físico:

Esta posición requiere la capacidad de alcanzar con las manos y los brazos, sentarse, caminar, trepar, agacharse y arrodillarse, y poder levantar y cargar regularmente hasta 50 libras.
