Irving Oil Ltd. is seeking a seasonal maintenance helper to support the Bulk Plant team in Halifax. This role involves assisting with maintenance tasks and manual labour as part of a physically demanding daily routine.

The position is 3–6 months, and successful candidates will contribute to a strong safety culture while gaining hands-on field experience. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and is ideal for individuals able to perform physically demanding work with attention to detail.

This will be a 3-6 month seasonal position.

Your Responsibilities:

• Working with the team to assist with maintenance work in the Bulk Plant
• Providing assistance with manual labour components
• Various maintenance duties as required

Your Skills:

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary

Your Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Previous experience with field helper is considered an asset

The expected hourly rate for this position is $18.00 - $21.60. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
